Dr. Nick English was born and raised in Louisville and attended Trinity High School. He majored in chemistry and minored in biological sciences at the University of Kentucky, where he graduated summa cum laude. While at UK, he shadowed a dentist and fell in love with dentistry.
As a result of his experience, he pursued dentistry as a vocation. He went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry for his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree, graduating in 2021 summa cum laude and a member of the Phi Delta Society (representing the top 10 percent of the class). Dr. English was also a 2020 Hinman Scholar and was featured in U of L’s Profiles in Leadership in 2020.
Dr. English enjoys the relationships that form between dentist and patient. To him, the dental office environment feels like a family with staff and patients.

He lives in St. Matthews with his wife, Claire, his two daughters, Elle and Sutton, and their dog, Opie.
Outside of work, Dr. English loves to cook and try new restaurants. He also enjoys many outdoor activities, including running, hiking, fishing, golfing, going to the lake. Most of all, Dr. English loves spending time with his young family!
I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. I am a graduate of St. Xavier High School, Bellarmine University & the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. I have been married to my wife Pat for 39 years and we have one son, a daughter-in-law, a grandson, and a granddaughter. My dental interests are in cosmetic procedures, dental implant placement and restoration, oral rehabilitation, TMD treatment, and modern endodontic procedures. I have completed over 300 hours of specialized training from the renowned Pankey Institute. I am active in the Louisville Dental Society, Kentucky Dental Association, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
I have been in dentistry for many years, I started out as a dentist assistant but moved to the administrative side early on. I am a new addition to Stony Spring Family Dental team, but have gained experience from working at different offices around Louisville. What I love most about my job is building relationships with patients. It is important to me for patients to get the treatment they need. I enjoy spending my spare time going to the lake in the summer. I spend most of my time with my husband, kids, and dog, Ella.
I have been with the practice for over three years. I started out as a clinical assistant, but now I work up front as an administrative assistant. I enjoy being a familiar face that says 'hello' to every patient that walks through the door. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, anything artistic, and spending time with my dog, Phoebe.
I am a graduate from Assumption High School and a Louisville native. I am the newest addition to the Stony Spring Family Dental team. I am excited and eager to learn something new every day and gain knowledge about the world of dentistry. In my free time, I enjoy telling dad jokes, drawing, and spending time with my beagle, Augie.
I am a 2013 graduate from Dental Careers of Southern Indiana. I am eager to treat and care for my patients using all the dental experience I have gained through the years. My favorite part of my job is chatting with patients, really getting to know them and having them leave with a smile. In my free time, I enjoy reading, acrylic painting, rescuing animals, and being in nature.
I am a graduate of University of Louisville School of Dentistry, originally from Illinois. I am excited to be the new full-time hygienist of Stony Spring Family Dental. I love seeing patients leave happy and come back better and more improved! In my free time, I enjoy gardening, painting, hanging out with my rabbit, Baloo, and my dog, Juice.
I was a dental assistant for 10 years prior to attending University of Louisville School of Dentistry for Hygiene school. I currently work as a temporary hygienist and fill in at Dr. Hammer’s office as often as I can. I enjoy making patients’ dental visits as comfortable and enjoyable as possible while providing quality dental care. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, and most of all spending time with my granddaughter.
