Maybe your front teeth have slowly become shorter, flatter, or more chipped. Maybe you do not like their shape, color, alignment, or proportions. Perhaps older crowns and fillings no longer match, or missing and damaged teeth have changed the way you smile.
You may know that you want a change without knowing which treatment is right for you. That is exactly what a smile consultation is designed to help you understand.
A smile makeover can address:
The goal is not to give everyone the same smile. It is to create a result that fits the patient's face, personality, goals, and natural features.

Before

After
Full-Mouth Rehabilitation
Significant tooth wear, discoloration, and a compromised smile.
Comprehensive full-mouth rehabilitation designed to rebuild the smile and improve appearance and function.

Before

After
Cosmetic Smile Transformation
The patient wanted a more even, balanced, and confident smile.
Cosmetic treatment designed to improve the smile’s symmetry, proportions, and overall appearance.

Before

After
No-Prep Veneers
The patient wanted a brighter, more even smile while preserving her natural tooth structure.
Conservative no-prep veneers designed to improve tooth color, shape, and smile symmetry.
Veneers can be an excellent option, but they are not the answer for every tooth or every patient. Some smiles are best improved with whitening and bonding. Others may require crowns to strengthen heavily restored teeth, implants to replace missing teeth, orthodontic movement, or a carefully planned combination of treatments.
Dr. English begins with your priorities and evaluates the health, structure, position, and function of your teeth. From there, he develops a plan intended to improve your smile while preserving healthy tooth structure whenever clinically appropriate.

A natural-looking result depends on more than choosing a white shade. Tooth shape, edge position, surface texture, proportions, gum levels, facial features, and the way your teeth come together all influence the final design.
The objective is a smile that looks refreshed, balanced, and believable - one that still feels like you.
The right plan can improve more than how your teeth look in a photograph. Depending on your needs, treatment may also restore worn edges, rebuild damaged teeth, improve tooth proportions, replace missing teeth, and create a more stable and comfortable bite.
Thin porcelain restorations can improve the shape, color, symmetry, and proportions of visible teeth. Depending on the starting condition and desired result, treatment may range from minimal preparation to more traditional preparation. Dr. English will explain what is appropriate for your teeth before treatment begins.
Whitening can brighten natural tooth structure and may be the first step in a cosmetic plan, especially when future restorations need to be matched to the desired shade.
Tooth-colored composite can sometimes repair small chips, refine edges, close minor spaces, or improve symmetry with a conservative approach. Bonding may be used alone or as part of a larger plan.
A crown may be recommended when a tooth needs more structural support than a veneer can provide. Crowns can strengthen teeth with large fillings, fractures, significant wear, or extensive previous dental work while improving their appearance.
Patients with extensive wear, multiple damaged teeth, missing teeth, or an unstable bite may need a more comprehensive plan. Full mouth rehabilitation combines restorative and cosmetic dentistry to improve appearance, comfort, function, and long-term stability.
When a tooth is missing or cannot be predictably restored, a dental implant may help rebuild the smile without relying on neighboring teeth for support. Implant treatment can be coordinated with the surrounding cosmetic work for a more cohesive result.

If you decide to move forward, the team will review the treatment sequence, estimated timeline, fees, and available payment options before scheduling care.
Dr. English believes cosmetic dentistry should begin with careful listening and comprehensive planning. Rather than recommending the same treatment for every patient, he evaluates the condition and role of each tooth and builds a plan around the patient's goals, facial features, and long-term dental health.
His approach combines modern digital technology with detailed clinical evaluation to create results intended to look natural and function comfortably. Patients receive a clear explanation of their options so they can choose treatment with confidence.

I met Dr. English for the first time at my last dental appointment. He was very polite & cordial when he introduced himself. Dr. English seems to be very knowledgeable about dental health & fully explained what he saw on pano & bite wing x-rays. I was already familiar with the office & staff as I had been going there to see Dr. Hammer since he started practice.
I recently broke a crown, and called Dr. English after hours, as he had recently taken over the practice from my previous dentist. He returned my call over the weekend, and found a time to work me into his schedule. He and his assistant Toni worked quickly and efficiently to treat my problem. They are both very warm and personable, and I look forward to returning to the practice with my family for many years. Thank you Dr. English!
Had a great visit at English Dental! Not only did they provide excellent service, but they also provided my daughter with great care while I was getting my cleaning. Great staff & family oriented environment!
Best dental office I have ever been to. Never have had a team explain so well WHY my treatment was needed. They even showed me photos of inside my own mouth!! Would highly recommend
There is no standard number. Some patients need no veneers at all, while others may benefit from treating several visible teeth to create consistent color and proportions. Dr. English will evaluate your smile and explain which teeth, if any, would benefit from treatment.
Not every veneer requires the same amount of preparation. Some cases may be appropriate for minimal-preparation or no-preparation veneers, while others require more reshaping to create enough space, correct alignment, or replace compromised tooth structure. The amount of preparation depends on your teeth and the intended result.
A veneer primarily covers the visible front surface of a tooth and is often used when the tooth is structurally healthy. A crown covers more of the tooth and may be recommended when additional strength or coverage is needed. A smile makeover can include both when different teeth have different needs.
Often, yes. Older restorations can sometimes be replaced and coordinated with the surrounding natural teeth or new cosmetic treatment. Your consultation will identify which restorations should remain and which may need to be updated.
Depending on the case, digital planning, photographs, a diagnostic design, or a three-dimensional printed mock-up may be used to help communicate the proposed changes. Dr. English will explain which preview options are appropriate for your treatment.
The timeline depends on the number and type of treatments involved. Whitening or bonding may require fewer visits, while implants, orthodontics, gum treatment, or comprehensive rehabilitation can require a longer sequence. You will receive a personalized timeline after the necessary evaluation and records are completed.
Because every smile makeover is customized, the cost varies with the procedures, number of teeth, materials, and complexity involved. After evaluating your needs and goals, the team will review the proposed treatment, fees, and available payment options before you make a decision.
Treatment completed only to improve appearance is generally not covered by dental insurance. If part of the plan is needed to restore damaged or missing teeth, some benefits may apply depending on the plan. English Dental can help review estimated benefits, but coverage is determined by the insurance carrier.
A consultation does not obligate you to move forward. Its purpose is to help you understand what is possible, which options fit your priorities, and what would be involved if you choose treatment now or in the future.
You do not need to know which treatment you need before you contact us. Start by telling us what you would like to change. Dr. English and the English Dental team will help you understand your options and create a plan that fits your smile.
